Default 2004 Disco SE7 Starting Problems

I am just starting to have problems starting my Disco. If I've driven it during this hot stretch, turn it off and then try to start it, it cranks as if the starter/electrical is working fine but it won't start. I return the key back to the original position and start again and it starts right up. I'd appreciate any help you experts can lend on what type of service I might need and approximate costs. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the tip Spike. I'll start there. If anyone else has input I am all ears.

No more input needed, get it replaced before the disappointment begins.
