Default 2004 Range Rover HSE won't start

I have 2004 Range Rover HSE. Last week I tried starting the car it didn't start. There was not even noise coming from the starter. After few tries i heard just one click sound. The battery is new and I can tell that it's not the battery. I decided to take the starter out since it sounded it might be the starter. I removed the aluminum cover which is on the starter and decided to give it a last try before i take the starter out. To my surprise it started. I tried few times after that it starts just fine. I also want to mention that while i took the cover out i also touched the wire. Could it be loose conection?
