2005 LR3 SE won’t start. “System check in progress”
This is my first post so thanks for reading it.
I have no clue what this means and why my car won’t start! dash says “system check in progress”. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Battery and fuses have been checked

I had a very similar issue. Get a new battery if yours is anywhere near needing one. Also splurge for a high quality 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 battery.

Did You Ever Learn the cause?
I, also, have a similar issue. A 2008 LR3 that works great --and suddenly, the locks engage and the radio and a/c stop working. An error message "System Check in Progress" appears. The Land Rover dealer had it 3 weeks and couldn't find the cause. It happens intermittently and will not start until several minutes later. The warning lights come on and stay on until this '"system check " completes. It is not the battery. Any idea?
