My 2005 LR3 only starts about 2 of every 3 times I try it. If I get in the vehicle and I cannot depress the brake pedal before starting it I know that it won't start.. it's not the battery or the alernatorany help out there for me?

 

Do you have battery power to other components when this happens. I'm thinking about the ignition cylinder maybe.

 

my guess would the the cam or crank position sensor(s).
