I recently completed service on the RRS HSE includes work included timing chain, guides tensioners, water pump, intake manifold hose main coolant hose rigid plastic (pervious garage broke the hose and threw it back in),new spark plugs, new belt. Before I started the project the vehicle ran but restricted performance, check engine light, miss fire codes came up and p0018 &p0019 codes. A day after vehicle wouldn’t start and checked the timing chain through the oil fill cap chain fell off the sprocket.

after several weeks of research and tools etc…. Finally have the vehicle put back together but the codes stayed and keep showing up. The vehicle also runs rough and anything under 1500rpm the vehicle would shut down.

anyone have any other suggestions?

I have no issues going back and redoing the whole process but I feel like the permanent codes are causing the issue.
