Hi Guys and gals.
My wife has a 2012 rangie sport with active suspension.
Whats the issue is that to lift the car on a 2 post hoist I have been told that this will damage the suspension unless its locked into access mode.
I dont really understand how extending the suspension could damage the suspension considering that this is a 4wd and does go off road

yeah I thought it was a bit strange.
the mechanic blamed the suspension fault at the moment on incorrect lifting.
when we ask for access mode the car tries to drop and then goes into extended mode.
Im going to put her on the hoist and see if any air lines are damaged / crushed.
Started to bump steer all over the place recently as well. shockies - im not sure if they aren't stuffed causing the problem.
Im going to get myself a scan tool, do you have one? Got to find one with suspension code access for the rangie. I have noticed that many do not.
