ok time for an update. i cleaned the ecu and wire harness, cleaned maf. truck seems to be running better. still drops speed going up hill and cel came on and then shut right off still coming up o2 sensor i guess i will replace that. idle still drops low enough to make oil light flash but that also is just once in a while. now i have to replace the pressure hose on power steering just sprung a leak. it seems to never end . oh forgot to mention the other night it was very cool out and truck ran even better.

you should see a huge difference once you change out that o2 sensor.

Unhappy

Sorry its been a while. But here we go again. Once truck has been driven for some time it starts acting out again. Seems like no power when stepping on gas I mean some times it won't even get out of its own way. I also noticed today that the shifter inside the truck gets very hot to where you can not touch the metal shaft going down through the floor. Trans service was done about 3000 miles ago. And yes ceo only shows o2 sensor which I picked up today and will replace tomorrow. I also noticed the fuel pump kept running even after I shut the truck off and removed the key.

Gear shift level getting hot is a electrical ground issue, there is a ground strap under the truck in that area, it will start a fire and burn the truck to the ground.

So then do you suggest I put another ground on the truck? If so in same location or any where on the trans.
