Default 97 disco, need help......

Hello and thanks in advance for anyone who can help me.

I recently got a 1997 discovery se7 and i have been fixing a few things on it, and ran into a problem i cant figure out.

I ordered a steering damper because the old on was severly smashed, I took the disco in today to get the tires balanced and the mechanic noticiced that the bar that the steering stabelizer shock hooks into is bent badly.

I looked everywhere for the rod and have no idea what it is called and where i can get one.

The tie rods at the end are newer, I just need the bar that the steering damper mounts to from tie rod end to end.

any ideas of where i can get this?what the proper name is for the part.

thank you all for helping.

Before you go spend the money, pull it off and put it in a vice, you should be able to straighten it with out replacing it, I had to do that one.

Behind the axle track rod, in front, drag link or steering rod.
I'd replace it, once bent it's weakened and will be more likely to bend in the future.
I have bent them back when off-roading in order to get home.

It is the Bar that the stearing stabalizer is on, thats what i need the name of.

I will try to bend it back, but i would prefer to get a new one, but without the proper name its hard to order or explain.

I have went to 3 autp stores and they say it is not made, or sold any longer.
