I have noticed a winding sound that increases and decreases with speed on my 97 Disc. SE7. Tires are
new and didn't correct the noise problem. Any ideas?
Hi if the above does not work has the diff lock ever been engaged for long periods on concrete ? this can cause diff wind up and can cause excessive diff noise
Typical Rover drive train noise, not to worry, won't get any worse. If you want to try and get rid of part of the noise, change out your diffs and t/case using 85W/140 gear oil.
