Default 98 Discovery 1 Questions

Just bought another D1 (a 98'), and it has some interesting diff guards on the front and rear. They almost look factory by the way thy bolt up, and have "KMC" branding.

I've done some searching online, but haven't found anything with "KMC" branded Land Rover stuff. Any ideas where these things may have come from? Was told this rover came from overseas, but that information is questionable at best.

My 95' D1 has a rotoflex in the rear, but this has a regular u-joint. When did they switch?

Not sure if that link will work....

Bought this rig for $500, and have been driving it every day for almost a week with no issues... Happy Camper

The '97 and '98 model years use a u-joint in the rear, they went back to the roto flex with the DII.
