I just bought my first Rover ('01 discovery SE7) and the air conditioner isnt working. In reality the air conditioner is working but the fan is not, when the fan is removed and 12v constant is hooked up it also works. I was told that there is some sort of relay behind the dash that is known to cause this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I am also about to replace the power steering pump, wish me luck...

 

If you are referring to the blower motor, if it is good then your issue is most likely with the A/C control panel.
