Default Alarm stuck on

I just got this 99 Disco2 with a bad headgasket. When driving home I parked it and tried to lock it, the alarm stuck on and wouldn't allow the motor to even turn over. Somehow I got it to shut off and it started. Got the truck with a crappy battery, or at least needing a booster box to start it. I replaced the headgaskets and battery. When I went to start it today the hazzard lights were going off when I put the key in the ignition, or when the door opened. I don't remember. The truck turns over, but wont start. It sorta sounds like its not getting fuel. Not totally sure since I had to head to class. When I pulled the battery and put it back on to shut off the alarm, or at least the lights, it came back on when I put the key in the ignition and turned it over. I just want to drive this thing!

Try turn the key, or use the FOB, and lock and unlock the doors 3 times, that should reset the alarm.
Let me know how it goes.

I feel like I tried that. I'll give it another shot. Also, not all the door locks are working. Just the rear swinging door.

With the alarm stuck on will the engine turn over? Or will it not even do that?

Also, check the inertia switch on the right side of the firewall. Press down the rubber button on the top of the switch.

So I pushed the inertia switch/button down and it locked in the down position. The hazards quit going off, but I don't think there is fuel going to it still. It sounds dry. I haven't had enough time yet to check it over more than pushing that button.

Just checked for spark, and there is none on the plug I checked. Also stuck a lighter to see if there was any fuel in the cylinder and there was none. Besides that the plug still looked new and dry.... This sucks. I checked and the coils are hooked up, I had the truck off the battery for a few hours and hooked that back up, its now on a charger to make sure its got enough juice, I'm running out of ideas...

Is the accident switch supposed to stay in the down clicked position?
