Posting here as airboxes seem similar between models. Just changed the air filters myself on a L560 but ran into something odd.
Was I just not paying attention in class or is this some sort of secondary filter? Looks like one and feels like one but that doesn't always ring true these days....


Second Filter? Ever need replacing?
didn't want to come off easy so I left it alone.

 

Why does that look like someone jammed a cabin filter in there. It does not even fit right.
