Default Air suspension system not working after a tire rotation

98 4.0 SE with 68k miles...yes 68k!

Immediately after leaving I noticed I had no Air suspension. Took it back they inspected everything and say all looks normal.

I'm pretty sure it was not in 'Access" mode but was in Low ride when they lifted it.

No warning lights are on, Air compressor is working but it no longer raises...

PLEASE tell me there's a quick fix!

Thanks!

Did you ask them if they had the suspension set right, you should have checked prior to them taking it into the shop.

The height sensors were over stretched when the truck was on the lift.
The whole system needs to be reset, prob by the dealer.

Thanks to Den F from Land-Rover Memphis it's fixed! Seems they did stretch out the "bags" by not jacking under the axles. The right front did not re-seat properly.

I jacked up the body on the right, tire hung loose, I was able to reach around the tire to line it up. Lowered the jack, double checked. Lowered the vehicle and was good to go.

Tire rotation and wheel alignment are both essential parts of maintaining your car. Even though both procedures relate to wheels and tires, they serve quite different purposes. Neither should be considered a substitute for the other.

If the system needs to be reset, you can also go to RSWsolutions and read up on the hand scanner Story has that will correct your issue for you.
