I'm Considering a 2016-2018 LR for light off-roading and family duties. There will also be some towing of a Scamp 16 camping trailer. I’m curious how people feel about both cars if they’re in 50k mile range and well serviced. The AJ126 had its Y pipe and water pump replaced.

If they’re both serviced at 5k mile oil intervals with full synthetic, which one do you think will make it to 200k the most trouble free? I feel like the complicated mild hybrid system might have issues we don’t even know about yet.

The other option would be a similar era ML or GLE 350 with the M276 V6 engine which is a very reliable platform.
