all four tires wear on inside
anybody have any ideas on what is causing my tires to wear on the inside?i like to do it myself so if you have some suggestions on a fix let me know.could this be a bushing issue or alignment problem?
alignments have to be performed on alignment machines only.
you won't get it right at all.
too many variables.
besides LR3 Alignments are tricky if the shop doesn't know what they are doing. If they do not let it stay its its standard height while aligning the angles will get screwed up.
as expensive as dealers can be, they will know what to watch out for and to look for any loose parts and how to diag them. Alot of times some parts can look like others causing issues.
I have seen many an aftermarket shop bald LR3 tires because they didnt watch how the vehicle sat when aligning. as the vehicle goes up and down for any reason the camber and toe settings change rapidly.
Sometimes on high mileage LR3s the damn bushings freeze, the bolt stays in and worse of all you have cut the bolts out with a sawzaw. Plus if a alignment camber bolt is stripped the shop will likely have them and put you back on the road quickly. The other shop won't charge you for an alignment and do nothing about the bad angles not telling you until the tires wear.
