Spike - these guys may be nearby - but they are listed as a distributor - Kamp Oil Inc and here are the ones that pop up for your state - Marketers Search - ConocoPhillips Lubricants

BTW - too hot here for the 30 weight, gets over 95 now....

Atlantic British sells Mahle and K and N filters. Which is the better filter in your guys opinion?

I know nothing about the Mahle filters, K&N filters are pure junk, they are rated as one of the worst oil filters on the market.

Purolator, WIX, NAPA Gold and MANN oil filters are rated as the best on the market for normal oil change intervals.
If you are going 10,000 miles or more on a single oil change then a Mobil 1, Amsoil or Royal Purple oil filter would be the one to get.
Using one of these extended drain oil filters for a normal oil change interval is a waste of money because they do NOT filter any more than a normal oil filter, they just hold more dirt which means they can go longer on a single oil change.
Hope this helps RROJ.

I've already searched Buzz, non of those guys are near me.
The on in GR is the closest, but still clear across town and what it would cost me in time and fuel it would not be worth it unless it was $10 a gal, even then I dont get out of work until after 6pm.

After doing more research I need to recant part of my previous statement.

K&N oil filters are good oil filters.

They are the same as the Mobil 1.

You may have been mixed up because K&N (and Mobil) are made by Champion Labs which also makes some of the worst filters on the market.

I know Tom. But the web site I linked to which rates oil filters says they are good filters.
I still will not use them, but they say they are good and I just thought I should show that.
Whether or not that site is biased I have no idea.
A older site took a K&N oil filter apart and it was junk, but that was a few years ago.
I still think you are just paying for the marketing on those overpriced oil filters.

Yeah, I didn't mean to disparage K&N filters, just mentioning that the same company makes crappy ones and that might have been why you were thinking they were crap. But now that you mention it, I think I did read that they used to be not very good, but improved some years back. But yeah, I agree, they are overpriced in my view. Plus I don't like K&N as a company, based on their air filter warranty.

I'm not one to fall for marketing ploys either.
I've been driving professionally for 20yrs and every place that I drove for used the name brands, WIX, Baldwin, Hastings and Fleetgard oil and fuel filters.
Use a decent filter and lubricant and change it when needed and everything will be fine.
No need to break the bank.
