Default Anyone using biodiesel more than 5%?

Have a new D5 with a surging / hesitation problem that has been reported by others with that diesel engine and is recognized by the factory. They are now saying it is because I am using diesel which is marked on the pump "up to 20%" which is only kind I can get in the Chicago and Midwest area since there is a 40 cent incentive to dealers to use biodiesel over 11%. I never had any problems in my previous car, a Touareg TDI.

What percent biodiesel are others using and have you had problems?

Thanks
Dave

I posted in your other thread but replying here too. I am curious how your biodiesel issue turned out.

Well I checked some local stations and we are pure diesel around here (Massachusetts) so I guess it won't be a problem for me. Still curious about other peoples experiences with diesel.

I've heard that biofuels can leave a residue that clogs things up. THe fuel line cleaner additive companies are pushing that message too. Not sure if it's true or not or just internet rumors.
