Year and type of your vehicle might help.

Now that's one dumb video. Do you ever hear the nice clunk of the door unlatching or see him open the door?

A bit of lube on the hinge points may help in some cases and may be easy to try.

Pop the emblem and liberally spray lube all the moving points. Work the handle back and forth a bit. It will 9 out of 10 times come around and work again.

May be dumb, but it has happened to me a few times. Usually after I have loaded the back end with stuff and driven somewhere. I go to unload and the door won't open. I try to lube it up every few months as a preventative maint item.

As a bonus, when you spray it liberally with penetrating oil, the faded plastic of the bumper will have a nice, clean sheen to it afterwards. But yeah, penetrating oil is the way to go.
