Bad starter

Default Bad starter

Starter decided to go out on me while on vacation in gatlinburg, any idea where i can track one down?

Check the local salvage yards, since you didn't put what model you have I'll guess disco or RRC.

If you have a 3.5/3.9/4.2/4.0/4.6 they all use the same starter. 87 through 04.

Failing that contact Marty (Drillbit), Paul Grant, PT Schram, Justin Lucky8 LLC any one should be able to get you a starter quick.

Well got her starting again with cleaned terminals and fresh battery, starter still fails to engage every once in awhile. I think it will hold till i make it back home to the swamps. It was on my 03 disco by the way.
