Default Brake Light on Dash

Hey guys,

So my Rover just got back from the shop yesterday, he was in need of the oh-so-common head gasket repair. Before it went in, the head gaskets were the only issues that it had (that and misfires due to the blown gaskets), now that it's back out, I've noticed that there is a sound on acceleration that sounds like an exhaust leak directly under the engine bay and now the park brake light on the dash flashes intermittently with no particular pattern to it. It seems to come on a lot of times when I'm going up-hill or when I hit a bump. I've read around and it says that it could be brake fluid, but the levels are fine. The only thing I can conclude is the handbrake sensor, does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? The exhaust leak I don't think is related to this, but it's always best to give the most detailed information. I should be getting the noise sorted sometime this week. Any help is appreciated. It's a 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series II.

It needs to go back to the shop that made those last repairs. Its not only your best shot at resolving the fault, but it's their responsibility. But when you guys decide to continue on home or to work or whatever, you **** yourself because the garage is no longer liable except for only on those specific parts that were repaired or replaced. I hate to keep seeing this.

You might want to check to see if they put the ground straps back on the heads.
