Default Brake Problem

I have a '98 Disco. Every once in a while, the brakes won't engage. It typically happens just after the car's been started. I'll go to brake and they just won't engage. I hear a small buzzing sound, which leads me to believe the problem is electrical. No warning lights of any kind come on. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a fix for it?

Default RE: Brake Problem

You may have a vacuum leak on the vacuum booster.

It would bleed off the vacuum after it sets for a time and would need for the motor to pull a vacuum before the brakes
will work.

Only the older Range Rovers have electrical booster for the brakes.
