How about NTC7862, superseded by SQG100130 for the brake vacuum hose?

Is the vacuum too strong to use a rubber house?
I'm trying to think of alternatives...

Wondered that as well.
I'd like to believe there's a reason for the choice of original material.

At first I though that given the stranglehold that little gripper clamp makes on the nipple at the manifold that it needed that specific hard line set up. But.... in retrospect I cant see that clippy being any better than a thoroughly cranked hose clamp on a proper fitting rubber hose.

I mean seriously, I have never even heard of a rubber hose with a clamp blowing off ANYONES car. Ain't saying it's impossible but still waiting to see it....
(Please withhold the inevitable YouTube videos to show I'm probably wrong LOL)

You bastardo.
What'd you pay too, like five bucks I bet. They seem to NEVER charge the proper value for Hard lines.
Did they have any others??
;-))

$2.24 after tax :P
I looked for others but it was the only discovery. I found a range rover 4.0 but they don't use that hard line...

BUMP.
Still need this part #.

Becoming more urgent too as she'll be fit for the road in the next week, unless I can't find this hardline!

I have at least discovered that this part in question is called the "brake servo hose."
Now if I can find one, or that part #!!
