Can anyone bypass and make manual ignition
2004 land rover discovery. Will crank but no start. Obsolete so needs to be programmed or bypassed. No help from dealers or mechanics local. Appreciate your help.
You should post questions about the Discovery 2 in the appropriate forum.
If you are able to turn the key then you don't need to bypass it. There is no chip in the key so your problem is somewhere else. Either the inertia switch or the crank position sensor are relatively common causes for the situation you are describing.

I'm in North NJ and at the mercy of the elements.
