CB Radio - Review
UPDATE
I mounted my firefly antenna on the spare tire holder.
1. I had to drill out the washing fluid hole to 3/4" diameter
2. I ran the wire on the passenger side above the windows
PENDING
1. Tune the antenna
2. Mount the CB to bottom lid of cubby
3. Route power hook up
I learned a lot about CBs from doing this from trial and error. If anyone is interested I will post a full list of parts needed to install a CB and how to tune the antenna

I will post a parts list and YouTube link on how to tune the antenna.
The part list would be a good Christmas present

Got the meter and have been trying to tune the antenna...I can not get the antenna below 3, I have tried maxing out the tuning in both directions.
I am going to try and ground the antenna mount next and retest. Currently the antenna mount is hooked to the spare tire carrier. My assumption is that is grounded but, I will run a wire into the truck and give it a shot to see if there is any difference.

Found the issue on my mounting for the antenna, the lock washer was on the wrong side.
Now back to fine tuning the antenna, I found this link:
