Hey! I'm new here so forgive me if this question has been asked but I am at 40k miles and it's time to service the vehicle. 2019 Land Rover Discovery Sport. Land Rover said service is about $1k. Sounds like the service is a standard A to Z checkup on the car. Do I need to go all out and spend a grand at LR or have any of you used cheaper companies that know what they're doing with a LR? Thanks!

 

Over here in the U.K. you can take the vehicle to an independent specialist and it doesn't affect the warranty.

l did that with our Defender. The dealer wanted £800 (nearly $1,000) to do a major service but the independent did it for £400 (around $500)
