Default Check Engine Light

Looking for help. I had a check engine light come on. Codes told me that it was a misfire on Cyl 5 due to bad coil. Replaced both coils. A day later the check engine light came on again. Code told me misfire Cyl 5 due to bad Evamp Valve. Had smoke test done and it was determined that the valve was bad and needed to be replaced. Had valve replaced and smoked tested again to determine all was good. Now check engine light came on again and code are telling me misfire Cyl 8. What am I over looking that would continue to cause this issue?

Oh I forgot to tell you all that I have a 01 Disco II with 98,000 miles. I had a valve job done last year, and a tune up done early this year.

So give us the exact 4 digit fault codes cause you are reading them wrong.

Based on those codes, I would deal with # 3 and 5 misfire first, who's wire and plugs are you using, what octane gas are you burning? If it is not a wire issue, then you need to look at a compression test and possible leak down.
Once those codes are gone, the 1300 will go away, then clear the codes and see if the other 2 come back.
Let me know what you find.

The store was out of the Bosch so I put in the NGK. I have performance 8mm wireset in there. I have replaced the coils and the Evap Valve. I put in Techron and no change. How do I do the compression test? I only put in 93 Octane fuel.
