I own a 2001 Discovery that has developed a problem with not cranking in the morning. It will eventually start after multiple 15-20 seconds crankings, along with pauses with the switch left in the "on" position. Also, it will usually crank during the day ok. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks!!

 

How many miles on it, when was it last tuned?
Sounds like a bad valve on the fuel pump.

103,000 miles. I'll have to check on the tuning. I bought with 97,000 miles about a year ago. 252-578-5511(cell)
