At a Crossroads with Beloved LR4
Hi All,
Apologies if this is posted to the wrong sub-forum. I figure it's not LR4 specific so I thought this would be the right place.
I have a 2016 Landmark LR4 that I've had many happy miles with. However I just reached 60k miles and either need to find a great local mechanic to take care of her going forward, or will sadly be weighing my options for moving on.
I do have a pretty good extended warranty for another few years, so I'm good on that front. The things I would like to find a good shop for are regular maintenance (the priority) and possibly some modifications. I think 60k is a milestone when it comes to servicing the vehicle, is it not? Typically I just get oil changes, but I think I need to do something more substantial soon, given the references I see around here and on other forums about the 60k mileage mark.
The vehicle doesn't get much driving as it's not my main ride anymore. If I decide to keep her I'm strongly considering doing some fun offroad mods. Again, it would be great to find a shop I can count on to do this work and the maintenance.
Does anyone have such a shop that they can point me to? I'm located in the Seattle area on the Eastside. I also can bring the vehicle to central WA around Yakima or Ellensburg if need be, but my guess is that the good shops are around the Seattle-metro area.
I just do not trust either of the two Land Rover dealerships around here as their service departments have been terrible for a very long time, and although the ownership just changed, I don't think stuff like that changes overnight.
Thank you for any help you guys can offer.
