Hi guys I hope you can help me out as I'm running out of ideas.
I've got a defender TD5 2005
it died on me on the motorway and would not re start, it felt like it was losing power then ran rough and cut out, unfortunately a long way from nowhere (in Europe)
For a couple of weeks before this it would occasionally need cranking a few times before it would start, I thought this was a sign of the injector seals failing but as I was on a small road trip that was coming to an end I thought I'd do it when I got home.
Since its broken down it's had new injector seals, tank pump out cleaned and put back, was clean when it came out no soot or debris, new clean fuel filter, the injection loom and ecu are free from any sign of oil, it's been purged and still no hint of starting.

approximately 1 year ago it had the high pressure pump replaced but I'm now suspecting this to be the problem however I'd like some insight from more knowledgeable folks as I'm really struggling.
