Default Disco Died, I Almost Did!

97 Disco 1 died on may way to work last week. Through the kind and helpful folks on this site I was able to find the source being a blown fuse, Satelite 1 #3 Engine Management (owners manual says its supposed to be a 10A - fuse panel cover says its supposed to be 20A) wtf? Well tonight on my way home from work during RUSH HOUR @ 70MPH in the hammer lane, she !@#$ the bed again - same fuse. That was a handful, thought i was a goner. Any insight on how to correct this problem before Land Rover ends up with a wrongful death law suit would be greatly appreciated?

see attached - on a NAS version, with v-8, that would be the SFI (sequential fuel injection) version, 20 amp is correct. Runs ECU, the timer module (Multi Function Unit) and the O2s. Would suspect things like melted or rubbed wire harness allowing a really good momentary ground. Shake and poke wiring harness at idle.
