Default Disco II Problem

I am looking at a 2000 Disco II but there are 2 problems. One is the ABS, and TC lights are on and I have done some research and found out that this can be costly. I am a new driver so I don't have a lot of extra cash Any suggestions to avoid this costly repair?? also I need to buy manuals for it becuse they are not there any place that has the complete manual set CHEAP?!?!?

Although the Disco is easy to fall in love with, I suggest you have it looked over very closely. If you will look at my previous postings I have had the same trouble. I have dumped a ton of money into the problem and still have not come up with any solution. If you don't have alot of money to spare, this is not the vehicle for you. You will spend a small fortune on repairs. Trust me, you will have repairs.

modyfyit, do you still have access to a manual for a Discovery II (2000)? If you do, please let me know. Thank you

This is not always a big problem, it can be tripped by something as simple as hitting the brakes while going over a speed bump. Dust is usually the problem, causing the brakes to squeak and set a code.
Don't worry about it too much.

Just to clarify, NAS ABS DII's have had many TIB's regarding the ABS light staying on. Factory printed manuals do not have the latest information. The latest info is available through Ford's on-line site for a fee.
