Have 'L' reg Discovery 1 V8 Automatic.
All working well but have acquired a very good 300 Tdi from an 'M' reg with manual gearbox.
Have radiator, hoses and all odds and ends from the donor vehicle.
What modifications do I need to make to the Tdi engine?
Am told that the flywheel needs to be changed.
Does the torque converter need changing to suit the replacement engine?
Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

does a rover V8 and a TDI 300 even have the same bell-housing bolt pattern? I think not.
