So i have a manual transmission land rover discover 1 that won't start. I have power coming to the vehicle, it sounds like its ready to start but it won't turn over. This happened once last week nd i charged the battery a bit more and it turned over after a hour on the trickle charger. Today i went to do the same but even after charging the battery up a bit, it still won't turn over.

I replaced the starter last year with a aftermarket british automotive one and have never had a issue until last week.

What do i check next???? spark plugs????? batter check???? can someone give me any advice on what to do next.

can you jump it with another vehicle just to see if the battery is really ok, also, if thats suspect....start by checking all the battery connections and cables....thay are known to corrode, especially the ground cable

 

you may want to load test your battery and check your charging system, most AP stores will do it for free.
