Default Discovery Steering Issue

Hi all, new UK based member here.

My geriatric Discovery has developed a disconcerting vagueness about the steering at anything above 50mph. Nothing scary, just a feeling of disconnectedness with the road.

Views anyone?

Have you ever changed the p/s fluid, this can make a DIFFERENCE, MIGHT ALSO CONSIDER TIGHTEN UP THE GEAR BOX WHICH SOMETIMES NEED TO BE RETORQUED.
Can you be a little more specific as to what the truck is doing, any noises?
