Discovery stereo/instrument panel/cigarette lighter
Hi I'm wondering if someone can help me. The other day I changed the OEM stereo to a JVC using a stereo adaptor from crutchfield. One thing that I noticed was that a blue connector which was previously connected to the stereo now had now where to go.
The stereo works fine, however it seems that I no longer have instrument panel lighting, no power to the cigarette adaptor, and no lighting to any of the surrounding switches. It's quite an inconvenience as I can't plug my navi to cigarette adaptor and I have no idea how fast I'm driving at night.
Can someone help me to fix this problem? The truck is a 99 disco2.

Cigar lighter fuse 15, fed from aux circuits relay, which switches power from fuse link (bolt in fuse) under hood.
Did you have the passenger side kick panel off under the A post? There are headers under there that take lots of wires and move them to a single ground point. Header 18 may be one involved. Many lights and the lighter use these common ground headers.
RAVE set of manuals has circuit diagrams in on part, with tiny connector numbers. Look up numbers in the electrical library and you will have layout of connector and color pix of location.
