The connectors (there are two) should both be checked. One sends signals from XYZ switch to tranny computer. The other sends signals from tranny computer to valves inside the transmission.

Should I get a new or used xyz switch?. I wanted to add in that when it first went into limp mode my wife was driving down our very bumpy white stone driveway..

How about cleaning yours? It is a series of basic mechanical switches inside.

It would be the quickest and least expensive path. Valentine's Day is coming, one more reason for picking a man's pocket each year....

I got the switch off and open it is really clean but on the very bottom it has a bit of corrosion and stain from a small amount of water that stood in it. What should I use to clean it?
