Default Drive with suspension lowered/ noisey lifters

Hi people,

I have a 2003 HSE7 and firstly would like to know can I manoeuvre into my garage with the suspension lowered?

Also my engine has done 120,000 and sounds a little rattlely this is worse when cold. Are the lifters adjustable or hydraulic and am I just listening to fair wear and tear?

Should I dare have the local LR dealer listen to her??

Regards

Colin

Never go to the dealre unless you want to get screwed.
Do you have a lift or roof rack on that is keeping you from going into the garage, and if so, how many inches does it need to drop?
How often do you change your oil, has you oil pressure light been staying own?

only need to drop one inch and i have no roof rack et. The oil was changed 4000miles ago and I was planning on having it serviced and having winter oil put in. The vehicle has full landrover history and carfax proof. PS oil light goes out straight away after starting. Also engine noise is worse under load, but not really excessively noisy in that I do not feel like is about to explode, I recently pulled a 4000lbs trailer 1600miles with no real problems other than using a quart of oil.
