Hi everyone, I'm new here and to Land Rovers, I Recently bought a 1995 Land Rover Discovery (yesterday) to replace my 1990 Buick Reatta. I currently have it sitting in my driveway with the driver door panel off wondering how this lock works. I see the lock cartridge itself then there is a metal circle washer type thing that holds a swicth above the cartridge, but if I turn the key nothing happens to hit the button on the switch, took out the switch and when I hit the button still nothing happens....do I have pieces missing to my assembly AND a bad switch? Thanks a lot everyone, I hope to become a frequent poster...I am just confused on what is going on.
