on '95 disco 1,driver's door latch will not secure door when closing. in the recent past when this would happen,i would just pull inside latch as if exiting vehicle ,then close door. ? don't know what that was doing but it worked. but now you hear my problem. need advice

 

Beofre you replace it, clean the latch and make sure it releases and latchs.
