EAS Plumbing Upgrade?
I have noticed I cant find anything online referencing a switch of plumbing on the EAS system. First does anyone think it is possible and second would anyone else want this? Basically I thought it would be cool to replace the high pressure plastic hoses with braided line, and instead of having brass grommets to hold the hoses in convert the connections to screw on washer systems like how fluid lines connect. This would cut down on cost and time to fix. Any input appreciated.
I didn't mean it necessarily had to be braided hose, but as far as doing nothing for it. The collard fittings must be so much easier to repair yourself no? Thats mostly why I would want it.
Actually its more difficult with the newer style. The older style you just clip the hose with the hose cutter. A pair of cutters will oblong the end and not work. You just need new 6mm orings and you are set.
Thanks guys, really appreciate all this input, so I figured while doing the O'rings I would just do the compressor all in one whack. If you have any advice on that it is also welcome. I bought a compressor rebuild kit from the netherlands that claims to be second gen. They use different materials for the compressor seal and cylinder anyone have any experience with them.
