Default Eco light 2016 lr4

i can’t get a decent answer on the internet. I bought a 2016 lr4 and the eco light is amber and has a no line through it (what you would see when you manually turn off eco mode). Only problem is I cannot turn on the eco mode. I’ve heard it’s not worth using it but I don’t like the light on the dash either. Anyways I want to use the eco mode. There is a smaller battery on the drivers side. I haven’t tested it but I wonder if I replace this battery eco mode will work again. Land rovers warranty is 4 years on the battery so it should be covered. Kinda strange it would be dead already though.

Thanks
Phillip

I'm not expert on this but on our 2016 LR4 we had the same issue and the dealer replaced the battery. I'm on my 4th battery on my 2013 LR4, my sister is on her 3rd on her 2014...you get the idea. I've switched from the bigger Interstate to an AGM type on my LR3. Maybe I'll have better results.

@Psimon1973 - how did you ended up resolving the issue? I think I have the same thing happening to my car.
