Default ECU ground fault 76 ?

I have a 2000 land rover disco II. 4.0 engine. I went to a mechanic in town and he put a scanner on for my 3 amigo light and said the front passage side & drivers side rear wheel speed senor where bad. so I'm going to have those replaced. but he also had a engine code i think - code that he could not look up online. the code is ECU ground fault 76. Can someone please tell me what this is so I can try to fix it myself?

did not see that number, but there is a 1776, page for that attached. The computer modules (there are several) talk among themselves on a data bus, if cable is skinned, shorted, open, strange things can happen.

I really don't no anything about codes i'm use to working on a 65 Impala.
can you tell me how I can find out what this code is for? I have the manual for Land Rover but I just downloaded it yesterday and haven't gotten a chance to go through it.

You can stoop by most auto parts stores, and they will read the codes for free. Write down the numbers. Post back.
