I am trying to help a friend with her '96 Disco. Her driver's seat back won't go forward anymore. It has electric seats. It'll slide forward and back and the seat back will recline further but it won't come forward.

My first though was fuse but in the manual it has no mention of the fuse for the electric seats! Can anyone point me towards a link with a full explanation of the purpose of the fuses?

Second though was the switch is bad and I plan to check that out also. I'm also checking the wiring under the seat that go to the electric motors.

Any other suggestions?

 

[8D]Try the seat switch first , they always go bad. Rarely a seat motor. Thanks, Rusty
