Well here you are, what question would you like to pose, and we'll move it to the right section where more eyeballz will see it. Usually you just go to a particular forum, like Disocvery II, and start a new thread. The system may force you to make a few posts (like 5) before you can start your own threads.

Hi Guys,
Thank you Savannah!
I have a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II
The problem I have is that the drivers seat doesn't move forward, it is able to move up and down and recline. When I move the switch forward I can't hear anything but if I moved the switch back I can hear a sound but the seat is already all the way to the back. I removed the switch, but I don't have the diagram to test the seat bypassing the switch. I need help! Any idea what ports do I need to use to bypass the switch without blowing any fuses? Your help will be greatly appreciated here are some pics of the switch: this is the link to the pic:

Thanks

I'm curious to see what your problem is, my passenger seat has the same issue. I'm just glad it broke when it was all the way back and not all the way forward instead!

If you can't fix it, the electric motor has a drive cable that comes out, like an old style speedometer cable. You can attach a drill and move seat to a comfortable position and leave it.

Junk yards sell seats foir like $25 (you pull). Seat will be ripped, motors normally good.

Fuses 2,3,& 4 in satellite fuse panel should be checked. Page 32 of 126 in the electrical guide has the schematic and color of wires.
