Default Engine Vibration

I need a professional help here. Anyone??Disco 98
The oil company here introduced a new brand of fuel which costs less than the regular 95.I used it once and all the problems started.(anotherdisco owner I met had no problems at all, the mileage is much better for him now). There was a lot vibration in the engine when accelarating as if one of the cylinders was not firing.I used STP fuel system cleaner and the problem disappeared. After a month it appeared again,in the meantime i did not use that fuel again. When accelarting the the whole vehicle vibrates because of engine between 70-100km/hr, before and after its smooth. At idle if you listen to the exhuast coming out you can feel that its not a smooth idle. Spark plugs are ok, and the mechanic says its not the injectors. What could it be??

I dont think its relevant but anyways its ADNOC here in United Arab Emirates. The normal Octane we use here is 95 and 98 but this new product is called E-plus.
Engine check is not ON.
Thank for your reply.Ill wait for some more leads..
Cheers

You answered my question, it is the E plus, do not you any more of it, Rovers can't run on it without causing problems. It is designed for 1 or 2 year old vehicles that are designed to run on it.
Hope this helps, I would run a couple of cans of injector cleaner thru your engine ASAP.

Thanks Mike for the advice, As Imentioned above the first time I had this problem I used the above mentioned injector cleaner and the problem disappeared and reappeared after a month. I used it again and nothing happened. The one im using says on the CAN one can per full tank every 4000km. I was not sure if I should use it again as I havent reached that 4000km mark.
Can you recommend any brand which you have tried before.I used the STPs top of the line cleaner for complete fuel system cleansing.

In the States, the best additives are made by a company call B&G, their fuel additive is called 44K, this is the best and also the most expensive one out there.
Another one out there is called SeaFoam, less expensive but works well. Techtron is also a great additive.
I would consider draining your fuel tank, refill and add a can of the best additive you can find in your area.
I wouldn't worry about using another can of additive, it won't hurt a thing.
Good luck,
Mike
