Default exhaust system

Hi,

I am looking at replacing my 2 catalytic converters with 2 catco 6905:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I also want to replace the center muffler with a flowmaster 50 series

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I tried to search the forum for more information, didn't find much, have you used these parts before, or do you have any suggestions for a substitute?

I own a discovery 1 99 with 121000 miles, I replaced the headgasket 2 months ago, so far so good, O2 sensors changed a year ago + other engine tune ups.

Thanks

Good muffler shop shouldn't have any problem installing them, may be a little noisey though.

Discoland, check out Magnaflow's website and look for a universal cat, they sell a heavy metal version that is updated for the rover's sensitive nature to reduce CEL issues (Per Representative) I think I paid 80 each thru a popular online auction site. I have a flowmaster muffler (dont remember if its a 50 or not) and no resonator. Its a nice rumble but not racecar loud. The kids def know when im home when I pull into the garage. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks,

I will check out magnaflow's web site and see what I can find for my catalytic converters.
Is there a muffler that might be quieter compared to the flowmaster 50.
I am not planning to keep the resonator. I think I will like the new sound.

For those who are interested, the part number for the magnaflow universal catalytic converter is # 99004 HM

I will stick with the flowmaster for the muffler.

I will reply when the replacement will be done.
