Default Factory rear ladder nutsert question

Ok, I got the factory rear ladder and install kit. Unfortunately the instructions are written by a monkey that obviously doesn't know English and so uses pictures and all kinds of cryptic signals that I'm supposed to interpret. From what I can tell, I am to use a 7mm drill and a tool that looks like a rivet gun but no details are given.

Can anyone tell me what kind of nutsert is supplied? It appears like an M5 metric unit but the specifications don't match a 7mm hole size within tolerances.

Anyway, I am hoping I can use this tool: HOMEBUILDERS RIVET NUT TOOL from Aircraft Spruce but otherwise I have to source a metric rivet nut tool and it's not clear what size the Land Rover part actually is.

Some just use sheet metal screws and screw it to the door.
