Default fan hits shroud

I have a 1991 Land Rover and the coolant system warning light signalled a problem. I added some coolant, but not the warning light still flashes, and the fan now hits the radiator shroud pretty severely -- so it's not driveable. Any idea what could be wrong or how to fix it? I tried adjusting the shroud, but it can't really be adjusted much.

Check your motor mounts, the drivers side, and or the passengers side are most likely broken allowing the engine to move.
