In order for me to avoid a trip to a shop, how about to use that aux circuit? Would you be able to point me in a right direction? The bottom line is I'm trying to use existing resources not to spend extra for the project.

this might help you

all your really doing with the switch is opening and closing the ground

Thank you for the diagram. If I go that way, would I be able to use that aux circuit or I would have to pull wires from the scratch? It is not that the job scares me, I'm simply more mechanically inclined then electrically
